Today we collected four new family members. I have been busy constructing a chicken run, and today we fetched its new occupants!

LSS Long-Suffering-Spouse
Aged FIL The Late Father-In-Law
Aged Aunt FIL's late sister. These siblings did not speak to each other in years
MIL The Late Mother-In-Law
JP The cousin of LSS, favourite nephew of FIL
J Female owner of the farm next to that of FIL
Friend F Retired friend of LSS, they worked together at one time
Friend L Another friend of LSS, particularly good at DIY
Friend E Lives in the village, loves baking
Friend V Yet another friend, loves foraging
M&O Retired couple who are in charge of the local hunt, overall good eggs.
CC Owner of the gîte next door.
Mr. T Our closest full-time neighbour, although his house is actually in the next county. Has caught the beer-brewing bug.
Friend M Ex-partner of Mr. T. We still see her occasionally.
Mr. C A real-life Obelix.
